What is Hud?
HUD is the US Department of Housing and Urban Development which is the cabinet department in the Executive branch of the United States federal Government. It was created on September 9, 1965 when the Department of Housing and Urban Development Act was passed by one of the former US presidents named Lyndon B. Johnson.
The department's main role is to take care of the housing facility in the country with their Aim is to provide the quality affordable rental homes, use housing to improve the condition of poor, make new communities and societies which does not have any kind of discrimination. The department makes homes taking the concept of poor in their mind.
The Department of Housing and Urban Development is also responsible for making new rules and policies in order to better housing services. It is managed and administered by the United States Secretary of Housing and Urban development. The head office is located at Robert C. Weaver Federal Building, 451 7th Street SW, Washington, D.C. Its objective is to build the sustainable, strong, inclusive communities and the quality reasonable homes for all the people in the country.
Hud is also responsible to make new policies in order to provide the facility of better housing services in the United States. It protects an individual from the housing discrimination. There are over 10,000 workers serve in the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
