Hathway Cable and Datacom Limited was originally incorporated in 1993 as BITV Cable Networks by purchasing a large number of cable systems, existing in the metro cities of India and small cities.
Hathway was started by Ms. Pheroza Billimoria and Mr. Roopesh Rao. In 1999, BITV was taken over by Hathwasy Cable and Datacom Limited. Today it is counted among one of the largest cable T.V. service providers in India. Hathway Cable and Datacom Limited publicly trades on NSE and BSE. The
Hathway company has been honored with many awards for its services such as Indian Telly Award for Best MSO, and "Star News Brand Excellence Awards for Brand Excellence in Digital Products for Internet Services in 2011". EUROMONEY dubbed it as the
