What is ESA?
ESA stands for European Space Agency or Agence Spatiale Europeenne (ASE) is a international governing body that has been working for organizing various programs and missions like space exploration and other planets observation. ESA started its operations in the year 1975 with the collaboration of two organizations namely European Launcher Development Organisation and European Space Research Organisation. European Space Agency's corporate office is located in France. According to the report (2013), European Space Agency's Budget released was approximately US$5.51 billion, research center is located in Netherlands, astronaut center is situated in Germany and astronomy center is located in Spain. The major operations center for space opeartions of the European Space Agency (Agence Spatiale Europeenne) is located in Guiana Space Center. Approximately 5000 employees are working in European Space Agency and its other centers are located in entire Europe.
