What is Emirates Contact?

The foundation of Emirates was laid when Gulf Air withdrew its services from Dubai in 1980's. Emirates was formed through the financial support of the Royal Family of Dubai and Pakistan International Airlines. The airlines started its operations by taking two aircrafts on lease, Airbus 300 and Boeing 737. The First Flight took off from Dubai to Karachi in October, 1985. Maurice Flanagan was appointed as the CEO of the airline while the chairman and president post were given to Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and Tim Clark respectively. From 1986 to 91, Emirates had added several destinations such as Colombo, Dhaka, Frankfurt, Singapore to its routes. Emirates growth rate was Very fast in 90's as the Revenue was going at the rate of US$100 million every year. Emirates had achieved almost monopoly status during Gulf War, as the other airlines were discontinued in its area. The airline carried its worldwide operation in 1993 after entering into partnership with the US Airways. It had added several aircrafts to its fleet and operated to 30 nations by 1995 while launched its cargo division, Emirates Sky Cargo in 1998. In 2000, its fleet Size was expanded with Boeing, Airbus and A380. In 2008, a new terminal, Terminal 3 was opened for Emirates and which holds 43 million passengers. The airline holds seven subsidiaries with the strength of over 38,790 employees.
