What is Electrical Safety Authority Mississauga?

“The Electrical safety Authority” in Mississasuga is an independent and administrative organization which is responsible for providing electrical safety or protection to the public of Ontario in Canada. It is also abbreviated as ESA. It operates in-sight of Government of Ontario as 'Ontario Authority responsible for electrical safety' under Ontario Regulation 89/99 Act, Safety & Consumer Statutes Administration Act and Ministry of Consumer Services Agreement. All the activities of this non-profitable authority is carried out in four departmental sections which are listed as Ontario Electrical Safety Code, licensing of Electrical Contractors & Master Electricians, electricity distribution system safety and electrical product safety. Its main task is to 'identify main causes of electrical risk,'enhance awareness, 'education & training in electrical safety,'ensure compliance', 'Investigate fatalities, injuries & fire losses' and to 'Engage with stakeholders to improve safety. All the information regarding injuries, fires, funds etc. is published in the Ontario Electrical Safety Report (OESR) per year. The Electrical Safety Authority established in 1999 appoints a Licensed Electrical Contractor in local area so that people can thinly understand the risks of electrical work.
