Citi Field is a baseball stadium located in New York City and it was opened on March 29, 2009 and designed by HOK Sport. Citi Field is the local playground of New York Mets, a professional baseball team. The New York Mets play for Baseball National League of East Division in major League organized in the United States.

Citi Field stadium is owned by Queens Ballpark Company LLC, and operated by New York Mets. It was originally created in the year of 1964 as multi-purpose stadium that situated in Flushing, New York, United States. On March 29, 2009, the first match was played between St. John's and Georgetown at Citi Field stadium, and
New York Mets team had played first two matches as charity exhibition match against the
Boston Red Sox on April 3, 2009.
