The Central Library or main library in Mississauga is centralized at 301 Burnhamthorpe Road in Ontario, Canada. It is considered as one of the biggest Libraries in Canada and all of its activities is controlled by the Mississauga Library System (MLS)."Shore Tilbe Henschel Irwin Peters's” designed library was inaugurated on 2 October, 1991. There are total 5 floors in the library, each of which is managed by the subject along with specific color coded material. The various services or Benefits offered by the Central Library are followed as high speed Internet access, interlibrary loan, 24-hour book drop, homebound Service, e-books, full text databases accessability, free downloading, Word processing workstations and many other.
The library is divided into many sections like Arts & History, Children's, Reader's Den, Sciences and Business to provide easy access to the people. In addition to this, 244-seated Auditorium, Separate meeting rooms, Study Carrels and Study Rooms are also offered inside the library. Free parking facility is also offered by Mississauga Central Library. The Central library timings is: Monday- Friday : 9:00 am to 9 pm, Saturday : 9:00 am to 5 pm and Sunday : 1:00 pm to 5 pm.
