Canterbury Golf Club is a privately held golf facility based in the Cleveland suburb of Beachwood, Ohio in the United States. It was incorporated on February 2, 1921 by a group of prominent Clevelanders to promote interests of individuals in the Game of golf. The golf club is surrounded in an area of 7,012 yards and has a total of 71 championship tees and 18 holes. The golf club was designed by Herbert Strong and is a challenging and up-to-date course in the United States. Canterbury Golf Club was designed to meet the requirements of championship play and has been a for 13 major championships such as 2009 Senior PGA Championship, The Western Open, The U.S. Open, The USGA Amateur Championship, The PGA Championship, Senior Tournaments and Round of Champions at the professional, senior professional, and amateur levels.
