What is Brampton Welfare Office?
Muslim Welfare Centre of Toronto works as a welfare organization in Brampton, Canada. It was founded in 1993 by Muhammad Abbas ALI and his wife Sarwar Jahan Begum. The organization provides financial support, food and shelter services to the low income and needy people. IT Works under the slogan SERVICE TO HUMANITY IS SERVICE TO ALLAH in the county. Muslim welfare association operates four Halal Food Banks that serves approximately 6,500 families on monthly basis in Scarborough, Whitby, Montreal and Whity. It is responsible to provide the emergency shelter to the people who need it. The association founded emergency shelter in 1996 that was also known as “Muslim Welfare Home for Needy Women and Children" provides the facility of 45 beds. Muslim Welfare Centre opened a head office in Pakistan and represent welfare plan named “Support-A-Child--Save The Nation." Under this project the children receives free uniforms, stationary, books, education and shoes etc from the association in Brampton. It also operates Halal Meals in Toronto that distributes 350 lunch packs to those who are homeless and belongs to downtown area every Saturday. It also dispense winter clothes in the winter season under the project in the county. There are Three medical offices which are administered by the expert doctors in Pakistan locality. Recently the Muslim association operates the Halal Food and Essential Items and Al-Abbas Mussallah projects in Mississauga. In this project it provides the services of food and household items to the needy people in Brampton. The Muslim association also provides the Quran classes for the men, women, children and youth also.
