Bianchi Phone Number, Contact Address, Customer Service

My partner has a bianchi C2C VIA Nirone seven hydro/Carbon bicycle. He bought it approx four years ago for around £1200 from Godleys cycle shop in Great Ayton, North Yorkshire. My partner didn't register the bike as he bought it new and complete from the cycle shop. This shop has now closed. My partner has enjoyed several thousand kilometres on the road, and the bike has been serviced and maintained regularly. At the weekend my partner noticed a that a crack had appeared along the bottom bracket junction. He took the bike to Cowleys Cyles Zetland St Northallerton DL6 1NA. They confirmed it was a crack in the frame and not just the paint. My partner is due to travel to France with his cycling club in a few weeks to take part in La Marmotte, a 174km road race, with 5000m height gain. He is considering having the frame repaired as he hasn't got the money to purchase another bike. Please could I ask whether a crack of this size is considered fair wear and tear on a bike of this age? and also more importantly, whether you would advise against/recommend having the frame repaired. I do not know anything about bike mechanics, but it concerns me that the bike wouldn't be safe to ride if the frame has been repaired, especially with the length of ride he has planned in France at the end of June. My partner probably wouldn't take any notice of concern from me, but if you could possibly advise from a professional point of view, then perhaps he might take heed. Therefore I would appreciate any guidance you could give. I have taken a photo, but cannot attach it to this message. I look forward to hearing from you, many thanks. Louise Howard .
