Establishment and Network

In 1976, the Burmah-Shell Company had been purchased by the Indian Government and reintroduced as Bharat Refineries Limited and in the following year as Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited. Bharat Gas in India is operated with a head office located in Mumbai and four regional office in Ghaziabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai. It has four refineries operated as LPG bottling plants and Lube blending plants in Mumbai, Kochi, Bina and Numaligarh.
