What is Army DTS?
Army DTS or Army Defense Travel System is an electronic travel management system, used by the Department of Defense. It provides end to end travel management solutions to the Defense officers. The system helps the travelers in preparing reservations, receiving approvals, generating travel vouchers, etc. Army DTS system is available at more than 9,500 locations throughout the world. Daily, The system has approximately 100,000 new users and it process approximately 25,000 transaction.
Army DTS had started operations in 2006. The system is managed and administered by the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO). The facilities offered by the department are available 24 hours. The DTMO works under the guidelines of Defense Travel Improvement Board and Defense Travel Steering Committee.
