What is Arizona Highway Patrol?
The Highway Patrol Division (HPD) at DPS Department of Public Security is the largest and most professional section within the agency. It was started in 1931 by state highway patrol operation in Arizona.The Aim of this Division is to make sure the safe and efficient use of the highway transportation system for the community and to available support to local and county law implementation agencies.
