Amy Chua is a professor by profession who belongs to a Chinese immigrant family. She was born on October 26, 1962 in Champaign, Illinois, United States. Amy Chua started her career as a corporate law associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton. Amy Chua joined the Yale Law school in 2001.
