Good morning
I was in paris late this summer with my daughter for a 16th birthday gift. She wanted to see the Eiffel Tower so we went there. I went up to the handicapped sign identified trailer and asked where the handicapped line was to purchase tickets. They shouted at me repeatedly in French and I gave my standard “No parley-vous Franciase. English please” One worker shoved me down a ramp rather than tell me where the handicapped line was They seemed to be asking for a crd? The only card we have is the one to put on the dash of your car…the US does not give an accompanying handicapped placard to carry…
Finally got inside and asked to be taken to security to report incident. Bob Franke said that I should not report it to the police that he would file a complaint. Ive never heard from him. I do have photos of the man who shoved me as well as photos of the clearly identified blur handicapped sign on the trailer that I entered. I’m not sure who to email, but figure the embassy is the best place to begin? If not and you could share with me the proper channel I would eb so grateful. It’d been months and I’m still upset about how I was physically shoved in front of my child in a foreign country by staff at a tourist location. Thank you.
