Alnwick Castle is a castle and stately home in the English county of Northumberland. It is the seat of the Duke of Northumberland, built following the Norman conquest. The castle is open to the public throughout the summer. Alnwick Castle has been used by St. Cloud State University of Minnesota as a branch campus forming part of their International Study Programme since 1981. The facilities open to the public include Knight's Quest (formerly Knight's School), Dragons Quest, the Gift Shop, the Courtyard Cafe and restaurant and the Sanctuary at the Castle. Alnwick Castle has also been used as a setting in many films and television series viz. Becket, Robin Hood, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, The Hollow Crown etc.
