AARP Medicare Part D, also known as medicare prescription drug benefit, is a United States federal-government program to provide medicine at a low cost for their patients. In 2010, there was 1,576 stand-alone Part D benefit plans offered by AARP, down from 1,689 plans in 2009. The total number of plans offered by AARP varies from place to place.
